Ok, for real, how good/bad is Kronos?

Discuss anything here. But do not forget that our rules still apply !

Some players' remarks in this following thread:

Ourk wrote:I gave Kronos 2 a try too.

I always heard that Kronos was better scripted than Nostalrius but compared to Nostalrius, i found some annoying diff. (through the eyes of a lvl 17 Kronos char):

- an awful (and sometimes bugged) mobs pathfinding
- some (a lot in my eyes) "floating" mobs
- some very annoying bugs in my first dungeon (Dead Mines)
- a curious ultra fast health & mana regen (no need food & water)
- a curious ultra fast weapons skills increase
- perhaps (no deep tests) a slightly bugged "rested xp" treatment

So, i pray for Legacy Servers or Nost return.

It's vanilla.... rock paper scissor PVP, you can't possibly be bad at it.

Although most of my guild rerolled on Kronos, I am trying not to.
I dislike Kronos for a couple of reasons, most importantly their PayToWin Twinstar sillyness. Donating for crossfaction mounts is a huge nono for me.

Queue times are annoying, and the community isn't great, but at this point it has the one thing a private wow server needs more than anything else, a strong population. Yes there are better servers, with better scripting etc, but most of them are ghost towns.

Spirit is really strong low level, but at high levels it's negligible just how it was on nost. From what's I've seen so far reaching level 40 as a warrior, kronos scripts are very comparable to nost in quality.

Very nice server didn't experience any que yet. started leveling a Ally Rogue currently lvl 18 all quests and mobs seem to be working properly. disclaimer : sometimes do get some laggspikes
Other then that its a pretty good home for nost refuges.

More bugs
Items are all 1.12 lol
5 g respec
Custom Line of Sight
x7 xp event portal warlocks everywhere

It's pretty bad.

I've had way too many issues with disconnects... But it is the only viable alternative right now

Add auto-attack bug to the list of Kronos issues. Even with a spammable macro, sometimes your auto-attack will suddenly stop, and the only way to restart it is right clicking the target.

Kronos might be okay for some people, but I'm finding it not up to my standards.
