Minimized window help

I just installed the game by following the directions on the main page. Whenever I start the game it only runs minimized. Anyone ever see this before? If so how do I fix it?

I had this same issue the other day. I fixed it by right clicking wow desktop shortcut > properties > compatibility > run as windows xp sp2/3
