I can't seem to get addons to work. My addon button is not appearing. Any help would be nice

Hello Guys,

I put together an installer for Nostalrius. It contains all the official files plus a realmlist.wtf pointing to "login.nostalrius.org". Just install and you're good to go.

I will look at putting together a modified client at a later date (if it's decided that it's allowed) that has a working "Breaking News" (viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1058#p11008).

Important Installation Note:
Do NOT install the client to the Program Files directory. As default, it will list the installation path as "C:\World of Warcraft Classic", providing that "C:\" is your System drive.

Troubleshooting:
Can't Login to Game

• Forum accounts are separate from game accounts.
• Game accounts can be created here; https://en.nostalrius.org/#iwannaplay

Crash at WoW startup

• Try compatibility mode; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRLmhBVkPFs
• Check your graphics drivers are up to date.
• Try re-install.

Unable to select "Nostalrius Begins" server

• Browse to your "World of Warcraft Classic" directory.
• Find the file "realmlist.wtf" and open it with notepad.
• Add the following new line; set realmname "Nostalrius Begins"
• Save the file.

I try opening the installer but it says Windows could not open this file . You may not have the rights to do so . I tried opening as administrator and same thing , please help or at least give me the old setup since that one worked but for some reason you guys decided it was a good idea to remove it !

You have extracted all files from the downloaded .zip file into the same directory and running the extracted .exe?

i've tried DL'ing the installer from both mega and google and both give me the corrupted files error. So i downloaded some other 1.12 client and switched the realmlist and i get stuck at handshaking =/

I extracted the file that i downloaded in the same place , the dekstop , and then opened the file and ran the setup , then the error pops up , is it a problem if I extracted it with Winrar ? Because i don't have the file as a .zip file for some reason and it appears as an Winrar archive and if i try to make it a .zip file like in the tutorial video it gives me the same thing .

Hello. I am a mac user. I ran the setup with my wineskin port. My virus-scan found adware on the setup/launcher.

I download client from Narkon link and when i try to extract file, winrar show me error, exacly i can extract files without WoW-1.12.1-Setup-1
I can run instalation, but it need that file...
I don't want to download all files one more time...
anyone can help me?

Hello, and thanks! I got the game to install just fine, however, when I try to type in general, its says I cant use that channel yet. What do i need to do? Thanks!
