1) There is no app of any kind. You just double-click "WoW.exe" and everything is fine. No App, no launcher, just normal game.
2) There is no realmlist in retail/live.

Ive downloaded the client from vanilla and changed the realm list, however upon clicking the .exe the game turns on.. kinda. it turns my screen black and then minimizes itself and thats it. i try to click the icon on the bar and it opens with a black screen and then minimizes again. any idea why? or what could do to fix it?

Ohhhhhh... thanks:) I still log onto normal retail WoW when i click WoW.exe. I have some money if any1 wants to install this for me haha xD

-Yes, the Alternative version from Vanilla WoW. the other 2 sources say they have been offline. Im on Windows Vista if maybe thats what it wrong? Idk

1. Unzip gamefiles

I mean it's all in the first post, even with screenshots. What can't you understand? From what I am seeing you first only downloaded the realmlist, then also downloaded wow but now are not able to extract it. It's all in the original post, just read it carefully please. You need to EXTRACT the game, as SHOWN IN STEP 2.

Shouldn't have to do anything with vista.

I found out my problem was my Torrent Downloader was messed up

I have the same problem. Anyone know a fix?
