Edit: One more question, after setting some parameters through console or config file, if I view graphic options from the main menu, some changes (can't tell if all of them) revert back to original values (frill density, cloud LOD, sunglare etc).Any ideas?

Just add what I posted to the end of the config.

Read the Notes section of the original post for the answer to your second question.

Pardon my insufficient explanation, I read the note on your first post, my issue is that I don't have to change anything at the video tab for them to return to default values, just viewing it and only clicking "ok" or "cancel" also causes it.

Clicking "cancel" in the Graphics Options should not have the effect you describe.

Quick question, would I be able to use the "maximum performance" commands with an Nvidia Geforce GTX 680, i7-2700k CPU @ 3.50GHz (8 CPUs) with 8gig ram?

I suppose I can, but I want to be sure before I change anything.

Would you say it works with the "maximum quality" aswell?
