Hello, i have question for fellow warriors about AQ and viscidus.

There is really 3 possible options for weapons and i would like to ask if someone have run the procs so i could know which one is the best choice for Viscidus fight:

Sliverblade http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=5756
Coldrage Dagger http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=10761
Iceblade Hacker http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=13952

Assuming Iceblade Hacker works as intended, it should be the best since the Ice damage it does isnt a proc but a guaranteed on-hit effect.

that would not be working as intended then as the +frost dmg from the axe is rolled into the white dmg

another good example though of frost dmg proc weapon is this:

Hammer of the Northern Wind
Binds when equipped
Main Hand Mace
58 - 108 Damage Speed 2.10
(39.5 damage per second)
Durability 105 / 105
Requires Level 49
Chance on hit: Launches a bolt of frost at the enemy causing 20 to 31 Frost damage and slowing movement speed by 50% for 5 sec.

Then you put Icy Enchant on it along with Frost Oil to max out the frost dmg procs.

So I got another question on this topic:

Do frost slowing effects like the one from Icy Chill Enchant or Hammer of the Northern Wind / Colrage Dagger make Viscidus freeze faster? Or is it only direct frost damage that counts? From what I've read in old guides I've got the impression that the latter is true, although I haven't found any specific proof.

It is kinda crucial for the choice of weapons as well.

Any information on this is aprreciated, ty.

Edit: So I found this quote on the feenix forums from a script developer: "For clarification, Icy Chill in fact does count as a spell hit for the frost spell counter." http://www.wow-one.com/forum/topic/51811-melee-frrost-things-for-viscidus-in-aq40/ - Although I have doubts on feenix' accuracy on scripting.

I have a question on this boss:

As MT, I know you don't need NR for Huhuran, as 15 soakers can stand closer than you, however what meaning full NR (High stam and or def) should I be reaching for on Viscidus, if any.

Followup which bosses would I want NR gear for MTing, specify which and how much such as a few pieces, a lot, or full. :) I'm specific on my units of measure :)

The boss doesn't hit hard himself (melee wise) it's the AoE nature dmg bolt and the stationary poison cloud that he casts randomly you have to have cleansed off and moved out of respectively.

Just like on Thunderfury, elemental damage doesn't work on this server. It's counted as normal physical damage.
