Can lock's Voidwalker see thru stealth?

So what happened is , i see this "Zai" a warlock lvl 32 in the distance , he targets me and send his voidwalker to attack me , i use stealth and start getting away from him (cause same thing happened minutes ago) , as times goes , his pets finaly reaches me and attack me , forcing me out of steath and GG to me. I'm currently 33 , so i ask you , is this supposed to work like this? voidwalker can see you and put you out of stealth?

I don't know if it's working as intended or not, but you can use distract to counter it in some situations.
