Bug or not (combopoints)

i pvp vs enemy rogue. I have 4 combo points on him. He use vanish, cs me and then i lost all my combopoints.

WTF? bug or feature of vanilla?

Not a bug unfortunately. The way combo points work in Vanilla is if you deselect your target for any reason, you lose the points.

Only if you target something else in between. You can deselect it fine, if you select the target again you will retain points (even through loading screens). But if you target anything else in between you lose all your points.

Some addons also automatically target every character around you. This happens too fast for you to see but will cause you to constantly lose combo points.
