Just want someone to confirm that this is perfectly normal, me hunter 37, killing mobs in Duskwood to level pet, I come across a shaman 40 in travel form on road, now take note that we don't stop at all, when we cross path this happens, again he doesn't even stop, it happened in a fraction of a second;

I would not mind at all if we would have fought but nothing, I died while running, again in a fraction of a second, if you say this is perfectly normal I'll leave it at that ofc

Well, it's the Windfury proc, isn't it? It gives two extra attack (20% chance). And the Fatal Would thingy is a Weapon Proc (can't remember which one, one from BWL trash loot iirc, same spell as Vis'kag).

And currently Windfury animation is bugged, that's why you didn't see anything.

Of course he must hit you at least once for this to happen, but if he did, what you described can definitely happen in a split second yeah.

Oh, absolutely not. Wasn't aware you weren't talking about a level 60!

But there might be other weapon proc sharing a similar proc with the same name :

it seems there are 4 spells that aren't the same, but have the same name, for different weapon procs (different damage values) :

One for Vis'kag & Drake Talon Cleaver ;
One for Diabolic Skiver, a level 44 Polearm ;
One for Deathblow, a level 42 2H Sword ;
One from Pendulum of Doom, a level 39 2H Axe (Twink weapon).

Funny to see the highest damaging proc belongs to the lowest Weapon ^_^, I guess the Pendulum ain't a Twink Axe for no reason!

But yeah that means that Shaman was using that axe .

Yup, I believe you found the culprit, knowing that I now completely understand what happened.

Next time I see this guy I run in the opposite direction lol.
