Aimed Shot

Quick question.

Since Aimed Shot & Arcane Shot share the same cooldown, is there any point in spending talent points on Improved Arcane Shot?

P.S. My apologies if this thread already existed, I did not seem to find it.

Improved Arcane Shot doesn't apply to Aimed Shot. It obviously has its uses but once you get Aimed Shot, Arcane Shot becomes one of the worst ways you can spend your mana. Don't put any points into it.

Arcane shot is only of any use with 2.5 AQ40 gear (+SP) and you are outside of raids (Farming / World PVP) or kiting.

Damage per mana Aim shot and Multi shot > Arcane shot. As the former two scale with physical damage gear (AP/Crit/Agil)
