Yeah.

I wonder, as it is now can you override a full renew with the GH bonus? If so 8pc trans becomes a negative in some cases.

yes. that's how it works. it overwrites rank 9 renew or get overridden by a rank 9 renew. its shared buff slot. this is incorrect. so its degrading to go 8/8 atm
