Assuming the ZG patch increases the debuff limit to 16 as it should and raids have are able to take a SP I have a few questions. These are regarding MC.
Mind Flay is our only spammable spell, but even talented the range is only 24 yards.
Are there aoe bosses/mobs where 24 yards is not enough?
In such cases, what do you do? Stay out of shadow form and throw smites in between Mind Blast cooldowns? Offheal between Mind Blast cooldowns? Depends on the encounter? (keeping shadow debuffs up of course) Take the aoe dmg along with the melee?
I read that for casters you want 170 buffed fire resist for specific encounters. Is this accurate?
Obviously with the ability to dispel and to increase all warlock shadow damage by 15%, plus vampiric embrace healing, a shadow priest can bring value to a raid.
In MC specifically, what is your approach? Thanks for any insight.
