Warlock Gear List (Updated for 1.8)

Sheet updated. Getting ready for the patch:

- Added Corruption, Shadowburn, Nightfall and all the curses to the rotation. Set them to 1 to enable.
- Added all the relevant Affliction talents
- Proper ISB calculations, now take crit and hit into account.
- Stat weights normalized to spelldamage.
- Added a tab with the gear up to BWL updated with 1.12.1 stats.

check your BWL Gear tab. Ringo's Blizzard Boots needs to be removed from the list.

I wouldn't count Nemesis as it's final version just yet. We don't know what Nos is gonna do for itemization but Nemesis got a bunch of changes and didn't receive it's final version until 1.9.

"Many of the pieces from the Tier 2 Armor sets have received updated statistics. The armor sets with the most extensive changes include the Netherwind, Nemesis, and Judgement sets. Other sets received fewer revisions, or none at all."

I'm holding out hope it gets it's final version but based on how it's run so far, it probably wont.

Yeah T1 had an intermediate version as well. We'll see when the patch hits.

Looking at the item history there are a few different versions of the Nemesis Robe.

We have the pre bwl version with +20 shadow damage.

The shadow damage changed to 27 when they buffed spell damage across the board, you can check this by looking at the spell effect 18009 which is found on the robe.

The spell effects of the robe changed around 2005-10-01 to two effects
+19 spell damage (14254)
+1% spell crit (18384)

The spell damage then got buffed finally to +32 on 2006-01-06 or patch 1.9.

I didn't look at any of the other pieces but they likely have similar changes which the wayback machine didn't capture full pages of.

Who knows which version Nost will use. I'm pretty sure they are getting tired of all this research so they might just release the +32 spell damage version.

List updated for AV.
Some items seem to be missing, like the good Ban'thok Sash, AV Ring and DM trinket so that might change in the near future. And we got the intermediate stats after all, T2 head got wrecked.

I added the calculations for Talisman of Ephemeral Power as well. Since its gear value varies greatly with the fight duration, I added the value for the worst possible case: when the fight lasts as long as the trinket cooldown. Its still better than any other trinket in the game atm.

Let me know if I missed anything.

Left out PvP gear to keep it simple. The difference is minimal, but if you're R10 you might be able to get a couple of extra spelldamage by using 2 pieces for the bonus.

I'd use either Boots + Helm or Boots + Shoulders.

If you have r10, it at least saves you having to farm maleki's + Crimson hat if you use the helm.
