Just curious if some druid are interested in pvp.
Would like to know which spec you could use and why.

Personally i'll go for that spec as a healer in pvp :

what about you guys ?

Not sure if i'll get any answer since the druid subforum is kinda dead .

I did a lot of BG's on my old server, Twisting Nether. I used the following spec, and please keep in mind that I wasn't keen on respec'ing a lot at the 50gp cap price tag. Also keep in mind that a LOT of feral tier gear was hybrid in itemization.

http://www.wowprovider.com/?talent=1122 ... 502300501e

You might say "feral hybrid lol?" but back in 2005-2006, there were a LOT of keyboard turners and mouse clickers for abilities. I had learned early on from playing Dark Age of Camelot and Planetside to map my keyboard for fighting, and stole a lot of macros from different forums including Elitist Jerks and Thottbot.

I really preferred feline swiftness 2/2 over Primal Fury 2/2, but it was a hard call. In short, the spec let me tank 5 and 10 man content without issue, and I didn't have to change my spec at all for raiding in ZG for tanking Jindo. No Hex for the bear lol. If I was asked to heal (happened a lot) the spec was still very strong when packing a lot of spirit, int, and +healing gear. I'll agree that MP/5 is better than spirit but I was usually able to use my Innervate on myself.

I used a LOT of consumables, but Nature's Swiftness really has no substitute in PvP. I look at the other talents and shake my head in considering what I'd gain in giving it up. In closing, I had a great deal of fun with any BG with this spec, but Balance would have been more fun if I had the chance to collect a lot of +nature damage gear.

I'm the kid of tbc/wotlk, my only passion is the rogue. Left game with the begining of cata. Also pvp ever was favorite for me. But, it seems like rogues here will be pretty overpowered and overpopulated, so i roll druid. I heard druids was a challenging and underpopulated class during vanilla. In my eyes druid looks like very powerful and underestimited class which can be fun to play and good in pvp more often than it's considered to be.

Now I'm not very familiar with talents, and especially healing builds, mechanics of the game differs a bit from what i know. But i think my main goal is to wear feral with the next build. As a result of this i'm waiting for maximum pvp output, druid can produce in duels and world-pvp situations.

There will be a long and expensive way to obtain feral high tier items, because we will need to heal in raids. I love you healing pvp build, Guirssane, i think it can be used for both pve and pvp, ideal flag carrier. As an alternative for this i'm looking for something like this. No need to respec each time you want to switch between pvp and pve. You can not only to heal but also to do some damage.

Also i have some ideas about balance build, but now i can't judge how valuable can be such a thing.

Sorry for my english. Cya on Alliance side :3

Ever since I watched the "Nerf druids" videos by Azgaz I fell in love with the survivability and variability of his 1/29/21 spec - and that's what I'm (once again) going to roll with for soloing, doing 5 mans and PVP.

Though I have to admit that aside of BGs I'm quite a carebear ... ;)

I really like the hybrid spec 1/29/21, but I prefer having some decent gear to use It. I'm glad some people are interested in pvp, that' pretty good!

you're second spec takefive is a bit engame as you need some crit to be effective, otherwise you're first spec is classic for a feral. :)
Never did such thing as your 3rd spec but why not. Seems a bit weird to me tho.

Hi there,

I'm an old druid player from retail, where I used to be rank 14 with several of tier 3 pieces.

Here you go:

The most common healing spec
http://www.wowprovider.com/Old.aspx?tal ... 3155315051

Hybrid PvP/PvE spec (can be used for both PvE/PvP), but also requires decent items. I'd personally go for this one myself
http://www.wowprovider.com/Old.aspx?tal ... 3105315051

Valelstrasz spec (MT)
http://www.wowprovider.com/Old.aspx?tal ... 0150305050

Full raid healing 100% (if you're going to spam heal all players in the raid)
http://www.wowprovider.com/Old.aspx?tal ... 3115305000

Another full raid healing 100% (if you're going to spam heal all players in the raid)
http://www.wowprovider.com/Old.aspx?tal ... 3115305000

NS (Nature's Swiftness) healing spec
http://www.wowprovider.com/Old.aspx?tal ... 003114315d

Neferian healing spec.
http://www.wowprovider.com/Old.aspx?tal ... 3115315051

Feral DPS spec - can be used for both PvE and PvP (very good if you're going to kite in AQ20 due to 30% movement speed)
http://www.wowprovider.com/Old.aspx?tal ... 215105002k

Feral tank - wouldn't recommend anyone going tank, but it's doable I guess.
http://www.wowprovider.com/Old.aspx?tal ... 302015104n

Leveling specc /farming spec - begin with speccing into balance if leveling
http://www.wowprovider.com/Old.aspx?tal ... 320015103n

WSG FC spec - I obtained HW on retail with this specc.
http://www.wowprovider.com/Old.aspx?tal ... 103105014d

Also, I can't wait to meet you guys in-game. :D

Some might disagree with the specs above, but those are the ones that I believe are the best.

That's what I enjoy playing for pvp.

Gear dependent spec, but once you're into AQ/r11+ with the leather gear it's nasty. Pretty much just dot your opponent and you have NS to fall back on for a big heal.

I imagine most people would probably shuffle natures focus/reflection into imp MOTW for pvp but just a matter of preference.

Interesting spec in here, but I often adjust to my playstyle. ;-)
You can't really adjust point in the healing tree but in the balance tree, you actually can. Cant wait too, It's gonna be fun !

Is it possible to do a balance/feral-spec for PvP? My thought is that it would cause a lot of confusion for the opponents and when I go oom I'll just shapeshift to feral and start dps'ing from there.

Is that idea good? Input would be appreciated.

Im going to try that too btw, but not in balance way... just in the way of "ultimate" hybrid.

Meaning i will mostly dps with forms and change forms for when situation requires it... also for opening, if not cat, then moonfire and insect swarm. (obviously use them at some point regardless of opening)
I have no idea how this spec is going to work, but you die and learn when it comes to pvp. :P

http://www.wowprovider.com/?talent=1121 ... 5501031c3f

Omen of clarity is my reasoning for extra punch within the rng driven gameplay of vanilla, i remember clearcast was positively good as a mage. Everything else should be self-explanatory... its going to be a shapeshifting build with some healing capabilities but aiming for adaptability and survival, outlast the opponent as opposed to killing him with one crit. (improved motw for the stats and resistances)
