Balance for leveling?

I'm well aware that any spec can be used for leveling and I even used balance to level during this patch on retail; I remember it being terribly difficult though. Before I invest talent points, can anyone confirm that balance can be a competent leveling spec 10-60?

I did it on another server, it's very slow but it can be done if that's what you like to do.
Having said that, just go feral for faster uptime & Feline Swiftness. You can respec in your 50's when you're done questing & ready to run BRD, LBRS etc.

I am actually lvl ing as Balance. Its a bit slower y but with others in grp its ok. U ll be able to heal and dps at the same time, but have to grind every instance for good gear to do so. As u get to lvl 40, everythings fine. U dont need water anymore with the innervate and also get ur moonkin form
