What was the best patch/expac for Feral Druid PvP?

Questions in the title! If your answer is past WotLk, I'd also be curious to know when Feral was strongest Vanilla through WotLK.
Bonus points if its currently played on any private servers.
I apologize for the non-Vanilla question. But I don't know any other active communities of Druids to query. (Retail-related forums don't like the p-server tint of the question.)

Right now on WoD Feral Druids are gods, one of the best classes for PvP along DKs and a few others.
I don't know when Feral Druids were best through Vanilla to Wotlk.

If only retail gave me the enjoyment Vanilla through WotLK did.

really dont know about feral druids.
all i know is resto druids shined in TBC and were best healers in TBC.
that's one of the reasons i'm looking forward for TBC <3

How forward are you looking? I wasn't aware that was on the horizon for Nost.

Feral was hugely buffed in TBC, so that's what comes to mind first. But actually, druid was even better in WOTLK launch when we first got berserk and so on.

Yeah, I've mailed Feral for my entire WoW career, and I'm realizing its just been on an escalator upwards most the time, but it started in the fucking dumps.
