Is this possible?

While this does indeed suck fat salty balls, it's not THAT game breaking. Total loss corresponds to about 100-140 attackpower, once you factor in +15 str enchant and elemental sharpening stones (+2% crit) instead of weightstones.

If that's the difference between you being viable and being useless, I'd say you were skirting around uselessness already.

Elemental sharpening stone's description:
Use: Increase critical chance on a melee weapon by 2% for 30 minutes.

Specific weapon enchant too, shouldn't factor in feral damage as the latter counts as unarmed-max weapon skill.

Why would Nost only address bugs that were game breaking? I don't understand the logic here.

Elemental sharpening stones worked in feral forms in vanilla. I remember because I used them all the time. Flat stats on weapons, whether crit, attackpower, strength or agility, all work in feral and were in fact intended to.

I see. Misleading tooltip then. "Increases critical strike chance by 2% for 30 minutes" should be it.
Understood.

They did not work in vanilla since they were patched in 2.4.0 to finally work in shapeshifted forms.

I believe NIF might be right in this one:
http://thedruidsgrove.org/archive/wow/t-11401.html

01-22-2007, 01:26 PM (Prior to patch 2.4)

The highest level stone that increased the chance to crit worked for druids.

The poster after him implicitly agrees. In this thread they say sharpening and weighstones do not work. But Elemental sharpening is treated as if it did work.

Can you post your profile 2123 AP with raid buffs seems easily obtainable but how did you get 36.25% crit ?

http://ctprofiles.net/3465093

22.2% + 9% for talents = 31.2%

+2% from mongoose potion = 33.2%

+2% from elemental Sharpening Stone = 35.2%

41 from mongoose/Mark of the Wild = 37.25%

387 + 10% from kings = 38.7 added agi = 1.935% crit = 39.2% crit.

I forgot to bring my sharpening stones, so i only had 37.2% crit :/

Patch note says:
"Weightstones and Sharpening Stones: The bonus damage from these temporary enchantments now works while shapeshifted. "

Elemental sharpening stones aren't mentioned in it.

Which does fit with the information in the druidgrove thread by several people (sharpening stones and weighstones do not work, but elemental sharpening do), as well as the elitistjerks thread where everyone finds the druid's consumable list logical, including +2% crit from elemental sharpening.

It's also not listing Consecrated Sharpening Stone, Coarse Sharpening Stone, Dense Sharpening Stone, Heavy Sharpening Stone, Rough Sharpening Stone, and/or Solid Sharpening Stone. What's your point?
