Good points by Keftenk, just dropping my 2 cents (haven't been following this forum lately).

I find druid quite viable and easy to compete with, if you'r into that.
Using Nature's Grace / Improved regrowth talent build.

Here is link to my latest raid as kind of a proof.
I used 5 Major mana potions and 3 charges of Brilliant mana oil. No flask. No dark runes. Full world buffs until the end. We had some sloppy moments, which probably helped me push up my hps up there.

Here is a MC Rag fight from last night. I'm Swift Med spec and gave myself the assignment of healing melee and ranged on my side. Notice the next to none on Overhealing?

My alt druid name : Overhealer - I had no world buffs and only mana oil and sagefish and 1 mana greater mana potion.
