WF has zero chance to proc a second time on the next hit if you hit with a too fast weapon e.g. dagger

Uhh that is just purely incorrect. It happens a lot to me. It cannot proc a WF inside a WF. But you can definitely proc a WF after you already procced a WF. Even on the hit directly after the WF x3 hit.

Sorry but dagger still wins :)

the chance is always 1/5th. so you WF could possibly proc 2/6 hits and will easily outdps daggers.
go with flametongue with dagger. is constant dps.

2h wf > dagger wf

its true. think about and be open minded and maybe you change your opinion ^^

Yep... WF is best used with fast weapons as it will proc more often in a shorter amount of time. For slow weapons you COULD use WF as well as it's a percentage to proc but it will proc much less in the same amount of time, so less DPS.

No, it has a flat chance of proccing (faster weapons get more procs, but slower weapons get heavier hits, same DPS) and attack power's bonus damage is scaled to your weapon speed (again, same DPS). Ergo weapon speed has no bearing on Windfury DPS unless you are Enhance specced and have Flurry. In that case faster weapons give you stabler uptime. However, if you are Enhance you use a 2H because those have better innate DPS than a 1H. And if you have Stormstrike, the 2H wins out with instant attacks. Slower weapons are also preferred for the burst damage. A 2H WF also has a way of going SURPRISE and immediately killing or making someone lose the majority of their health, which if it's a 0/30/21 can get followed with a trinket NS Chain Lightning and kill someone before they realize what happened. Faster weapons by contrast lack the scary damage spikes that let you kill someone faster than they can respond and heal themselves.
