Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi there shaman folk,

for the upcoming old Nostalrius PvP launch on Elysium,
I am planning to upload gameplay, guides and to stream occasionally (mostly raids, dungeons and PvP), on for this reason created channels.
Containing PvE and PvP endgame enhancement shaman related stuff.
My intention is to provide entertaining and educational gameplay all relating to the enhancement life.

About my character:
I cleared MC/BWL/ZG as enhancement and hope to start AQ40 soon.

Be aware that I am not fully hitcapped on this one.
Got stuff like [Rune of the Guard Captain] and other items to switch around and optimize my gear at any point.
I am not using [Nightfall] on this one too, you gonna need [Nightfall] if you wanna raid.

My builds vary in some aspects from time to time, depending on how active I am playing pvp and if there is a progress raid at the very moment.

I am planning to do a guide on pre raid bis, pre aq40 bis, hitcaps and general pve stuff.

Well I got pretty lucky, had not really any trouble finding raids.
I already had pre raid BiS as I started looking for raids and I found a guild which was looking for a second enhancer.

But the last few points really depend on your own preferences and playstyle.
The biggest drawback of this one is, that you practically skilled 0 support talents, like imp wf etc. and you need hit on your gear.

You don't really need to be blacksmith to get Nightfall, you just need the mats and a blacksmith, with Thorium Brotherhood exalted, as far as I remember.
In my case, my guild is able to craft it and to deliver the cores.
I got mining and engineering, not maxed out sadly, was too busy raiding and farming consumables.
Engineering for PvP obviously and mining to get my hands easier on the Nightfall mats and other stuff and to skill engineering ofc.
Alchemy/herbalism/enchanting is pretty good to get consumables and gold or leatherworking for devilsaur mats.

Cool, from my experience Enhancement Shamans do little DPS.


I randomly looked up some raidstats where you performed:

Interestingly enough, Roji seems to be an Enhancement Shaman too and he's (barely) doing better than the Hunters. Still, he doesn't surpass any other DPS class either.

Oh man it's not looking good for Enhancemen Shaman. Always severely behind in DPS. Even Roji who is decked out in gear doesn't do anything worthwhile.

Those are pretty old news you got there, known since '05.
It's not my goal to be first in dps, because I know it won't ever happen in a raid.
I am fine with just beeing in a raid delivering decent support and getting gear.

As enhancement you aim to just be higher than hunters in dps hehe. Also the damage your pulling is proportional to how long the boss is up (mana issues) which is why nvy was rocking the dps meters(his guild clears shit really quick). Enhance is pretty shit but when the stars align and you are doing a very fast fight(vael,shazz,fank) you can definitely get up there in damage done.

Makes sense.

I also made the experience that I often needed to stop damaging when fully buffed because my damage spikes were way to high and I would instantly lose aggro.
