JCarrill0

1) i did not check the full healer spec so sorry for repeting you :D but still nice to see i did that one right
2) about the retardin spec - i know the benedic talant is broken right now . it was intended more like a pvp spec not pve so sorry for that one
3)tankadin spec - did not know about the 1 handed spec beeing broken so tnx for that :) an i chose the imp crusade so i could hold the main boss agro better ( but like i said im not sure about that)
4)tank\healer - i chose Imp Devo over Redoubt for the sole purpos of armor increse for tank when healing i think of this spec more like aoe suport spec (i havent tryed it myselfe so this is on a big question mark)

Ah very good, thank you for the reply
If your going PvP for the ret spec, perhaps go 5/5 imp might? (this way your not wasting 5 points for a broken talents.
Tanks already have alot of armor, Redoubt also help block which negates the dmg which helps regardless of armor. this is why I suggest redoubt > Imp Devo.

Yibby wrote:Ah, then you'd take the 2 out of BOM and put them in Unyielding Faith.

If you're speccing for PvE then its safe to assume your raid has at least 1 ret pally for JOW, and he'll spec 5/5 might. No reason to put the points there, they're better off spent hoping for a fear resist to heal a MT during fear.

I still have yet to have ANY Ret Paladins in any PvE Raid. UF while useful for PvE, is more useful for PvP (imo)

I hate to say it but it's not going to happen until 16 debuff slots open up and our bugs get fixed (i.e. Consecration has its hidden debuff removed):

I'm not concerned about not getting Ret Paladins in raids

Possibly something like this for PvP Ret: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#sxxuzxZZxf0trfVo

No Sanc Aura, cause it's so broken, but not completely sure on 3/3 Healing Light or 2/2 Unyielding Faith. Ret PvP goodness, with the capacity to Offheal in PvP (or to easily heal yourself, should you get jumped in the open world by Gankly Rottenfist).

Precision maybe?

Yes, I suppose +hit is important in PvP, too. =)

After reading up on it, assuming they ever fix the glaring problems with Ret atm, I might try http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#sxxzZxhZxf0trfqo as an all-purpose PvPvE spec.

BTW, is Vindication worth ANYTHING in either PvP or PvE?

PvE no since bosses have static dmg values and not attributes that players have - similarly, it may be bugged as it was on Feenix and able to proc against raid bosses which is meni bad with only 8 debuff slots atm - especially since the debuff is useless.

PvP it isn't bad as an extra debuff for your opponent or his healer to have to cleanse off but overall it's meh.

even eye for an eye, repentance and improved retribution aura are useless in pve too . (as dps) .

unless you aoe tank as dps .

If you want to try pure pve :

(i am aware of bugs) but i link pure pve spec.

Repentance has its uses in PvE as a ranged pull (if the Paladin isn't an Engineer) and also useful in Naxx on the adds before Grand Widow.

But yes, Imp Ret Aura is good for when I AoE tank.
