Weapon procs and SoCr

Weapon procs and SoCr

The question is easy - will I get more procs while using SoCr and attack speed enchants with for example Nightfall http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=19169 axe?

Yes.

In short, anything that procs based on PPM in vanilla is set to a soft PPM, which means that the proc rate is a percentage based on your base weapon speed.

This means for things like Seal of Command, which functions on a soft PPM of 7, using a 3.8 speed weapon, the chance to proc is 44.3% per swing. However, using attack speed enchants, you can get more than 7 procs per minute over large sample sizes.

So whether the proc is based on PPM or is a flat percentage, no matter what it is, attack speed will increase the uptime, or number of procs. In this case, yes, if you are a nightfall bot for your guild, you will want to use the 3 1% attack speed enchants (Helm, Gloves, and Legs) and also use Seal of the Crusader for 43% Melee haste. Also make sure to use HoJ, which is an effective extra 2% melee haste, bringing you to 45%.

Even more to the point, with Seal of Command bugged on Nostalrius and not having it's 0.5 second delay, it means that no weapon/trinket/item procs are possible off of SoC procs, only the white hits.

Don't forget that Judgement of Command also increase the proc of Weapon.

Which mean once delay of Command is fixed - Command is highest proc rate.
Even without delay fixed, only because of Judgement of Command still Seal of Command have higher proc if you use Judge on CD.

One thing you didn't know is that even with current bugged version without delay , you might not double proc at same time but it will still increase the chance to proc and can proc from command instead melee.

To OP i recommend you to test because Seal of Command will increase the chance to proc by 35% and it equal to 35% speed by Crusader but Judgement of Command will increase this chance up to 50% which mean it will go 10% more than using Seal of the Crusader.

p.s i already have talk with Holystrike regarding this and it result to more procs using Command in raid.

It's not good because Nightfall here is 3.2 swing speed - not 3.5 - so it's terrible swing speed when paired with Seal of Command.

it's all about how much proc % you will have.

for example judgement of command will always give you 15% proc chance increase .
if proc % for seal of command are 30%+

then you will have 45% + chance increase to proc nightfall

seal of command in this case will beat seal of the crusader which is 40% chance increase.

it depend but as long as seal of command have 30% proc or more it's always higher proc chance than seal of the crusade due to the extra 15% from judgements of command.
