Made even worse since Smiter, Holystrike, Palabubbla and others are showing that Retribution is beating "pure DPS classes" and are doing it without any Judgement of the Crusader stacking either...

So what is to be learned from all of this *COUGH* ANA *COUGH*?

Taking average data parses over entire raid instances or over multiple raid instances is intellectually dishonest or just flat out lying.

You have to dig deeper and look into each fight and how they fit into each other overall in order to get what's known as CONTEXT.

Hey Theo, good to see you're still salty. You need to get some anti-anxiety meds or something.

The thing to bear in mind as far as Smiter's dps is he's going all out in every raid, and at this point we're all just casually farming content waiting for AQ. Smiter is fully potted, DM buffed, flasked, every buff under the sun. Don't get me wrong, Smiter is awesome and I'm glad he puts forth so much effort. We'll be happy to gear him out.

The situation you keep crying about has nothing to do with you or ret paladins in general being victims so stop pandering for it. We have a dkp system, in our system we determined that we weren't giving MS priority to ret paladins anymore because we've had 4 or 5 ret paladins come and go while we showered them with free loot bc of the whole "MS > OS LOL".

Smiter is the only ret dps we've ever had in the guild that is even marginally keeping up, so we decided it really isn't necessary for us to bring ret paladins to our raid, cover them in all the best gear under the sun and then look at them sit at the bottom of the meters for a month and then leave the guild to pvp or quit playing altogether.

That's OUR decision. That's how we've chosen to handle our loot system. As far as we're concerned (now with perhaps the exception for Smiter) all plate dps gear is OS except for our fury warriors.

Get over it.
