over 1 minute this is on average
7 Judgements Per Minute = 6 procs
7 socoms = 6 porcs
17 swings = 6 procs
Total attacks: 31
Average Procs per minute = 10.85 (ROFL) = 18 procs
Average Proc Crits per minute = 2.17 (ROFL)
Average Damage Per Minute = 1127.8575 (ROFL) x3

The reported proc per minute rate is for white damage. This enchantment has been confirmed to proc on attack abilities at the same rate as the proc per swing rate. Thus an adjusted per minute rate would be calculated by ppm+pps*(number of abilities used in a minute).

Patch 1.7
All item based self heals will no longer be effected by equipment that provides bonuses to healing. This change affects both the Arcanite Champion and the Crusader Enchantment.

There is lot to learn from us before you step over and correct our mistakes.

Another evidence of you still having no idea how things work and act like you know everything.

Theloras is correct completely when it comes to Nostalrius mechanics currently.

As it is plainly evident this enchant on its own actually deals relatively low dps; when vengeance procs off its crits however it will be amazing, I would also advise paladins away from intentionally investing too deeply into spell damage purely to boost this enchants damage as you will then sacrifice crit which boosts vengeance uptime which is litterally the entire point of this enchant.( having spell damage as ret is great but stacking it only and gimping other stats is terrible, as ballance is required for optimum dps )

http://realmplayers.com/CharacterViewer ... Holystrike

Because this enchant gives too low "18" dps you have Holystrike himself using it with much lower spell damage than 150. (he have 45 only)

Now stop derailing the thread and allow theloras to continue helping people

I think you should just stick to trolling buddy that post was hilarious not even going to reply,

anyone who wants to check the actual theory crafting behind this enchant can verify my sources:

http://wow.gamepedia.com/Procs_per_minute : 6
(which is what the server is based on if you actually use procwatch and test it)

I think someone needs to give duki a math lesson...

Edit: just quoting this here for further ammusment incase he tries to change it.

Lifestealing enchant has a 50-60% proc rate and scales at 43% of spell damage currently on Nostalrius - and how do I know this?

Cause I have it on every single one of my weapons - both 1handed and 2handed - and I have first hand evidence from the Proc Watch add-on showing its proc rate compared to my white auto-attack hits.

Try testing something out first next time before spouting shit like this on the forums...

you make me laugh man... you have proven my point, if you havent realised

regardless of whether blizzard used a different proc chance then myself, my original point that the direct damage dealing component of the enchant is low and not worth stacking excessive spell damage at the loss of major stats such as crit is absolutely correct; the math I used to calculate proc chance seems to be correct however so i question that forumals integrity as I will demonstrate (that one on wowwiki does not seem to check out if you test it for generated procs i.e too few)

wowwiki.wikia.com ~ Revision as of 01:43, December 4, 2006 by WoWWiki-Shadek wrote:Note
This enchantment will give a purple glow to the weapon.
The enchantment has 6ppm (procs per minute), the healing and damage done can crit.
Chance on hit (%) = weapon speed * 7.87

pps (proc per swing) is determined by ppm/60*(weapon speed)

Chance on hit 3.5*7.87=27.545%

P.P.S 6/60*3.5=6/210=28.5%

So in reality if the wowwiki formula is correct the pure damage dealing function is far weaker i thought it to be, and only procs 27% of the time rather then 35%, amusing that you proved my point considering you did this unintentionally and was entirely counter-intuitive to your original argument.

Anyway how I calculated 35% for anyone wondering out there:
Time: 60 seconds
Weapon Speed: 3.5
Procs Per Minute: 6
therefor the formula to calculate the % of these swings which would proc would be:
Procs/(Time/Weapon speed)
i.e
60/3.5WS= 17 Swings per minute
if 6 are procs then the % of swings which proc are
6/17x100= 35%
Proc Rate: 35%

Holystrike , after everything he learn from us , he came here to stab us and attack / offense us .

If you read his previous posts you would see that.

As for Holystrike :

Note
This enchantment will give a purple glow to the weapon.
The enchantment has 6ppm (procs per minute), the healing and damage done can crit.
Chance on hit (%) = weapon speed * 7.87

pps (proc per swing) is determined by ppm/60*(weapon speed)

Being stupid will always be stupid and forever stupid .

The reported proc per minute rate is for white damage.

Meanwhile for special attack the rule does not apply .

This enchantment has been confirmed to proc on attack abilities at the same rate as the proc per swing rate. Thus an adjusted per minute rate would be calculated by ppm+pps*(number of abilities used in a minute).

Maybe you are not stupid , but your brain is unable to comprehend the meaning of this ^ .

And don't forget :

The Day when i was Teaching you how to DPS , see yourself using Crusader Enchant when we told you to Replace that.

Also the day when i was teaching you to don't use Seal of Righteousness or Seal of the Crusader , and the day i teach you that Seal of Command is best Seal for you in raid.

He's being a complete douche both in whispers to me and on the forums not only to me, but also Duki and Smiter and needs to be put in his place as a result.

As I said in my Ret guide, while there are some builds/playstyles that I may disagree with due to the current bugs on Nostalrius, I would never absolutely shit on someone in the public forums about it, or call for them to be banned for bug abuse, or say that they're fucking stupid and don't know how to play a Paladin in the first place.

That's Holystrike for you and he's behaving worse than the worst forum trolls because he's a Ret Paladin himself and both Duki and I have provided him with info/tips/advice at length on how to better himself.

You should go back to school and take a refresher course on reading comprehension cause...

me saying that Lifesteal scales at 43% of spell damage =/= stacking spell damage instead of STR/Crit gear
