Then play that and burst as much as you can. Open on a target right after the tank shoots it and never ever stop dpsing:

As a tank/healer player I've just grown accostumed that DPS are either this damage meter whores, or just brainafkers.

Some find it fun to play specs for reasons other than topping damage meters though.
