it depends on the rest of your gear.
you need a good mix between +sta, +int, +sp.
more sta + int means longer fights, more damage output.

In my experience, theres a magical line in pvp where if you have enough HP, there's no point in acquiring more of it before improving your mana and damage. Try to analyze what you die of, do you die because you've run out of mana, or do you die with plenty of mana left? decide what stat you need after you know that.
