Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Every time I log back in my keybindings haven't saved. I've tried suggestions on other posts: changed where game is located, running as admin, deleting WTF but nothing has worked. Any help is appreciated.

Turn on read/write permissions for the wow folder. I had the same issue and thus fixed it for me

I forgot to put that I've done that as well but it doesn't seems to be taking either. I change it and then go back to check and it has read-only selected again.

This would suggest that Windows is preventing this change from persisting because the folder is protected. Usually this only happens under C:\Program Files but it is possible to set other folders similarly protected, like C:\Program Data for example under Win7 is. What is the full path of your Nostalrius WoW installation?

C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft Classic

I would double check the advanced folder settings for both C:\Users and C:\Users\Public\Games in case they are protected. Toggle the box "and all sub-folders" before you make them read/write instead of read-only.

Apparently read-only can't be changed in Windows 8 without using command prompt for certain folders. And the problem appears to be with an extension to the Bartender add-on. So derp. But thank you for the help and sorry for wasting your time.

Ah, yet another reason for not using Win8. Glad you sorted it out.
