Guide to installing addons

Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find an answer anywhere. How can I install addons for this game? I use winrawr to extract to C drive > program files x86 > World of warcraft classic > interface.. but then no addons menu drops down from the interface and it tell me I can't extract directly into the interface folder. Any tips would help! thanks.
