Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

First, I did read all of viewtopic.php?f=45&t=5359 and attempted the steps in there.

Second, none of those tips, as good as they were, helped me with getting off the test realm.

Are there any other work arounds?

Quit the game, rename the folder "WTF" from your game folders by "WTF_old", then start the game again.
If it works, quit the game, and move the folder "Account" inside the "WTF_old" folder to the new "WTF" folder created by the game.

You may be able to hit Enter quickly as soon as you see Success and change the Realm to Nostalrius Begins.

or

Modify realmlist.wtf to look exactly like this:
