So after those people on the alliance die, they are spawned back at Stonehearth where the Horde are near and the turtling begins. So if you want to point fingers here, tell your fellow Hordies to stop camping tower point area so we can all enjoy quick games, thanks.

It was precisely this impatient attitude idiocy that led to blizzard nerfing av to death. Please go back to retail if you want your av pve races.

If folks don't like turtles, then put effort into utilizing the elements of the bg designed to combat turtles. Cannot figure out what they might be? No sympathy for clueless or lazy entitlement.

I will tell you how to win AV and have a proper fun battle that will last probably around 80 minutes as horde.
(Done it before, people loved it,but you will see at least 3 people like Aukh or Blackwormz whining about people pvping in a battleground)

Let's say we have a 40 man raid.

3-5 people defend iceblood choke point
3-5 people start taming wolves (need 25 wolves tamed in total)
Around 25 people should just zerg mid and start killing any player at sight, looting them for valuable items, not letting anyone pass. (you have to PvP here rofl)
2 people, preferably stealth classes will go to the ram fields and start farming ram hides (25 in total)
In case an objective is attacked, people should immediately go retake it.

The zerg continues, you may capture shgy/any bunkers depended if enemies are weak.
Once the riders are ready, charge with them, claim shgy, claim iceeing bunker, (guard them with at least 5 people each of course) some people follow riders to spgy while others stay, once objectives taken, proceed to Belinda/stonehearth bunker (while holding icewing choke point against alliance)
When that is done, you attempt to take spgy, if the enemy is too strong, you need to turn in 200 stormpike soldiers blood to the horde shaman leader, then move to mid to her, gather 10 people for the summoning ritual and summon Lok'holar the Icelord. Push with him to north and kill whatever he targets. You keep trying to push with him and take spgy (5 people at least guard it) , then proceed to take the bunkers 1 by 1, everyone pushing in (don't be afraid to die) and hold the bunkers, watch the flag like an eagle cause they often corpseninja it, and take them. Then you just push further till you manage to cap aid station. If you don't, use the reavers! (Idk if they work, they seem bugged to me to be honest) Get 7 people to claim Irondeep Mines, preferably with the ability to teleport back to base, kill morloch, start looting supplies till all 7 are stacked up (10) then turn in to quartermaster in base and reavers will be ready.

They will be stronger if you upgraded all your troops with armor scraps. At that point you need to talk to war master Garrick in mid (you're supposed to be able to take a letter to bring to him tho, not sure if this works) then push with them and claim the last base, and finally execute the general.

I find this more entertaining than just running to a place to kill an NPC, and do this repeatedly, might be more effective for rep, but this game isn't all about seeing a bar fill up so you can get better items, enjoy the progress! The rep from dem long battles ain't bad too.

100 rep for getting 100 HKs
50 rep for summoning riders
200 rep for initiating shamans for icelord
28 rep for spawning reavers
75 rep for upgrading troops to champions
100 rep+40 gold for looting 100 players and their racial body parts and turning in
Average 120 bonus rep for objectives you didn't let alliance cap in the end
(that's for all players in bg, when the turn ins happen)

So you're making some progress and actually enjoy the battlefield rather constantly killing one boss (basically turning it into some full pve instance where the fastest team wins)

i do this sometimes because its frustrating when you are trying to win a game for an hour and then some crybabies join. and after 1 sec they already tell the others to lose. supafly is a big example of this. he wont try, he will jsut start fishing then. after insulting everyone and their moms

To win AV properly (without it just dragging on until one side stops queuing and the other wins due to numbers), you either have to split up and have a small but significant group (preferably stealthers) start pulling GYs from the far end of enemy territory, while the rest of your team keeps the enemy occupied & rezzing in the middle of the map. Have to keep that up for a while (and resist the urge to just keep pushing as fast as you can), so that by the time you crush them in mid, they will be rezzing in their entrance because you already hold the GYs in their base (capped, not just pulled). Then your whole team rushes in to defend it, and you're turtling their base instead of them while you prepare assault on their general.

OR you do like Simonich said, and just keep pushing them all the way back (NONE SHALL PASS) and use the NPCs to help crush them once they're cornered. It's meant to be a progressive siege battle... so you can either sneak your way in while they're far away and distracted, or box them in and crush them. Use the tools that are there!

petty much this but even if a small group tries to hold back the main bulk of the enemy people will moan about everyone needing to rush the boss. a small group defending can be essential. splitting up too.

just won an hour long game by defending the stormpike aidstation with 15, and the rest south. at the same time the norht people gathered rams. the rams got summoned and rekt all the hordies up until drek. hope thefilth isnt mad for losing :( i know he wants exalted.

Ps: shredders are great fun for holding glags from big groups jsut wish allies healed it. its aoe does 800 dmg wich isnt bad concidering its aoe
