C. Gameplay

Nostalrius Begins recognizes all valid play styles to be part of the game, and not harassment, so player-killing the enemies of your race and/or faction, including camping the spirit healer, corpses and/or gravestones, is considered a part of the game. While playing on a Player vs. Player server, you should always remember to protect yourself in zones where the members of a hostile faction can attack you. The act of "stream sniping" is not a violation of this agreement as we cannot intervene if someone in-game makes the decision to communicate their every move, thereby informing other users of their position and/or in-game status. Nonetheless, certain behaviour goes beyond what is considered fair and are considered a violation of this agreement. This behaviour includes, but are not limited to, the following:

Using or exploiting errors in design, features, and/or bugs to gain access that is otherwise not available, to facilitate and/or grant you an advantage over other players.
Engaging in combat whilst standing on a section of the world that neutralizes the ability of town guards to detect and/or engage you.
Engaging players through various world terrain, such as roofs that is otherwise not possible, to facilitate and/or grant you an advantage.
Intentionally not participating or otherwise being AFK within a battleground.


Yet I see the same people week after week AFKing every BG

Technically, these guys are defending a base in AB, even if they don't move, which means they are participating in the BG and aren't AFK.
I dislike this kind of behavior too, don't be mistaken. But your screenshot isn't proving anything.

It's like this thread someone made long ago about a player staying in Stealth during the whole BG. But since he kept moving around, he wasn't considered AFK, yet he didn't participate at all.

Best advice anyone can give you and the only solution you have is to not solo queue if you can't stand being in such games. Because that's what you'll get on both sides in a lot of BGs. It's the PuG life. If you chose it, you have to deal with it.
Go grind your epic mount, get some decent gear and start queuing with people who want to play the BG and the game just like you.

Pug v pug ive noticed as an alliance player that I only win 10 percent of the time. Horde puggers are way more geares and pvp minded, while alliance puggers are nothing but Serbian ret pallies wielding ice barbed spears, knucklehead huntards, afk chinese, and so on. Let me also remind you that alliance priests, locks, and even warriors are rendered useless due to wotf in which over 50 percent of horde pvpers are undead. Anyone who can stun is rendered useless due to orc stun res (particularly orc war), alliance who dont wear plaate are rendered useless due to windfury totem given out to wars. Also frostshock.

Add all of this together and you have a recipe for disaster. This is why alliance pugs lose a lot in my experiencr and in my opinion.
