Cross faction communication

Cross faction communication

I can't be the only one that gets whispered after you kill some alliance, this is bullshit because they can see exactly where you are and send their level 60 friends to gank you.
either make Ips horde or alliance only or put a stop to level 1s being able to chat to anyone.
Also silithus is amazing for PvP fun... worms that charge and stun you, scorpids that hamstring you and spiders that web you.
name a better zone for PvP.

Nice call redleader. I did some research and found in its present state this is not Blizzlike.

According to a blog post on WOW Insider they write:

There's a strange one that came along with Patch 3.2 that's recently been pointed out to us - apparently, players on PvP servers are able to create characters of the opposing faction on the same realm. If you play on Normal or RP servers, this wouldn't be anything special. However, PvP servers have always had a particular restriction that prevents players from having characters from both factions on the same realm.

Sure enough. According to Wow Wiki their undocumented changes for patch 3.2.0 show:

Faction restrictions on PVP servers removed.

This update was released on August 4, 2009. Chronologically we're still in month 1 of vanilla launch. So this change to PVP server happened 4 years, 8 months, 12 days after vanilla's launch.

The reason is this is a private server, even if you couldn't make a player of the opposite faction you could simply create a new account and do that... So they just made it possible to remove account clutter.

that is what makes no fucking sense, the reason a lot of players came to nost was because of the promise of no more multi boxing/dodgemading in PvP so why on earth did they allow multiple accounts from the same IP?
1 account for everyone and why do you even need a 2nd account? you can't have that many mats that you fill up all your alts mail box spaces.

Greetings RedLeader,

If you don't understand that it's incredibly easy to route different WoW clients through different IPs on the same computer, you are probably as dumb as you are bad at pvp.

You are totally missing the point here.
ofc it is easy but it is also easy to just screenshot their names, just implement what a lot of other servers do and stop them from talking to high levels or using world chat before level 10 or something like that? that should stop them making new alts at lvl 1 just to see where you are.
In the faq it clearly states you can not spy on other faction to check when they are joining BGs/your location to gank you but you get whispers from level 1 alliance alts all the time and even if you screen shot them they just delete the char as soon as they log out.
So the only Option i can think of is to stop anyone under level 10 using /who .

I believe stopping level 1-5s from whispering anyone above level 20 or something would be a nice fix.
