Nothing wrong with a 3-day AV when you're not required to farm AV tokens to purchase PVP gear. And given the choice between the 3-day AV and the "OMG PVE RUSH TO BOSS LOL" AV, I'm picking the 72-hour unending battle.

And I'll reiterate a point already made: if you're a stealth class, you should be stealth-ing behind the enemy front line and capping towers and graveyards. (Just tagging a graveyard can help your team's push tremendously.) This includes Druids (although, of course, non-feral Druids are much more useful to the team at the front line than Rogues). Rogues do nothing to help the team when all they can do is (almost) kill one caster at the back of the front line, then die. At best, you killed a level 55 Warlock (~~OH WOW~~). At worst, you got killed and didn't help your team one iota.

well i will be suprised if a single AV last for even 24 hours. People will leave long before that stage and one side will win.

And yes the stealth classes are even more important then the Choke. To constantly disturbing them with stealth caps are key to winning

I hadn't even considered the likelihood that the server will crash before an AV is complete. That thought kind of ruined my day.

Defence in burned charriot is best defence, and much better option than being slaughtered in the alliance bridge... its a pitty just a few know/follow this

Well there was alot of AV on on the the Beta tests and none of them last for any longer period then what they did during like wotlk
