This guy is an absolute tool. What are you even doing here? Go away, lad.

He made that abundantly clear with his earlier post where he decided to just brutally attack anyone who has more time available to play then he does. Doing stuff like that makes him feel cool 8-) .

so what exactly is the big deal now? you can't dodge anymore and have to wait longer?
or is it because the devs are favoring the alliance?
not enough alliance players to let you dodge?

expect a population boom on alliance side I guess.

You are lacking in the logic department, aren't you?

Jindo, do you understand that premade versus premade queues are unreliable for honor? They are upwards of thirty minutes for a game, not including the play time necessary to beat an organized opposing team.

Definition of casual premaders

This has several issues that accompany it, two of which I'll name: account sharing by people like Gladiatus and win-trading. Assuming this change happened because pugs were complaining about facing premades all day, well then it most certainly would be a "change for the casual" so to speak.

That's how you look at it. As I see it, people no longer have an easy way out (premading) to reduce their playing time for rank 14. HOW about THEM FUCKING APPLEs. stop being so tunnelvisoned.

Why else implement the system then? Because there certainly is no evidence that dictates vanilla WoW had premade versus premade queues until after TBC's release. So, we have a private server that advertises blizzlike, yet implements non-blizzlike patches to convenience the majority (casual pvpers).

You know what, I think this is a very familiar picture I'm painting. It sort of looks like... retail World of Warcraft. Huh... Interesting.

(That, my friend, is how you formulate an argument. Go read a book, you moron.)

nice argument dude, too bad it's one-sided from only a premade PoV. You are painting half the picture and trying to get away with it throwing out ad hominems in the end.

1) A change to accommodate the majority of players is something that can be defined as a change for the casuals. Because let's face it, casuals comprise the majority of the population.

Generalization much m8? Just because some, maybe most, changes are beneficial to the majority, doesn't mean every one of them is casualizing the gameplay. -.-
2) THIS CHANGE IS NOT VANILLA. HOW about THESE FUCKING ORANGES.

You got a point there, but most of the posts here do not argue from this PoV, so I didn't either.
3) Nice try buddy, but you're still stupid.

Another ad hominem....
Regardless, we want some answers. I know for a fact the administrators seen this post.

we can agree on this as well.

I find it hilarious, how you pull facts out of your ass then talk nonsense. I never premade and I never played vanilla and I never bothered with ranking. This is not even a discussion anymore, this is just blatant yelling at each other in text form. And you expect an admin to reply to this trashtalking thread? Good luck.

you under estimate how much time these neets have put into the game and just when they were about to reach the "gold" the admins changed the rules on them, ofc they are are going to start shit flinging.
Imagine spending 16 hours per day for 3 months and then you get nothing?
the nost staff are handling it a bit weird though.

Little bit of an exaggeration, don´t you think. I get 100k in 10 hours of pugging. So that means they would get 160 *7 = 1120k honor. Well, that's above standing 1 right now, and with pugging. This was in the old system by the way. These premaders only need to play 8 hours/day if they are good to get their 1100k honor in a week. I'd hardly call that an investment, being a hardcore player myself -.-

Fair enough. In one of my other posts, I assumed that the change was in response to pugs complaining about premades, although there is another scenario where the change is an unintentional outcome of messing with AV group queuing.

Worst thing for me is really that theres no statement at all by the staff. Its obviously one of the more viewed posts, and not the only one about the topic.

The server started really strong, even though there have been some pugs with the classes that are not totally fixed until now.

The recent behaviour from the devs about the issue we re discussing here really makes me think twice about investing more time here.
For me its simple if i dont get a decent rank up on next wed from the pugin and theres still no statement im outa here. Especially when i remind myself that some of the people, i wasnt be able to beat in honor are simply chinese acc share guys.

EDIT: What id really like to add here is that im also missing the social component of the premades. Playing together on TS for the ranks with 10/15 other players, be it against premade or pug, is just way more fun than pugin alone.

Well idk, today's the first day since I started playing on nost that I had time to do some premades with my guild. Had tons of fun facing premades with 1-5 min ques at ~3-4 am server time as horde.

Sure I understand how they were so close to getting the ranks and the rules changed. The staff needed to explain their choices, even though they are pretty clear to myself personally. It's unfair to the people who were close to R14 comparing to the people who already got it. If all the ranks were reset, or this change was implemented with the release of the server it'd be all good. Now it's kinda fucked, but there's no other way around it. The change is good, the timing is bad.
