After a few months of inactivity, this community project is back on track.
Most of our members have disappeared and we are nearly starting it over again.

During our peak of activity, we had 26 active assassins and nearly as much contracts at the same time.
Our goal is to reach that level again and do better this time.

For those who don't have a clue about what this is, just keep reading.

We represent a cross-faction group of players that help eachother by killing targets designated by ourselves. We hunt people for the members in the other faction, so they can kill people we dont like in our faction.

Being a part of this isn't as easy as you think. At some point i was receiving dozens of ingame letters per week, but less than 10% of the senders proved themselves worthy.

Let me explain in detail what it's all about.

So, every single one here did or will have some beef with another player, we all do now and then, and we get over it after some time.
But sometimes you just don't forget, and your hatred never really disappear...you stay salty and you want payback.
Most of the time the people that harm you the most are within your own faction.
People are people, they lie, they plot, they steal, they ninja your well deserved loot, they kick you from a group/guild just like that, they can ruin your reputation if they want to and you can't do shit, you just have to sit and watch the consequences.
If an enemy player harms you, you can kill him, camp him, harass him if that is what you want.
If an allied player harms you, you can mainly...protest? do a thread on the forums to claim your innocence or pray for a ban that will never come?
Well this is no longer true.
This is a community-driven system, so only you can make it work or not. The players behind it are only overseeing things, assisting on some occasions and making sure everything is going smooth.

So what is this all about ?!

The goal of this all, is for you to be able to tell the name of someone in your own faction that harmed you, to the right person, so himself can be harmed within hours, by people you don't even know and who are in the other faction anyways.
Without even spending a single copper coin, that one player you hate will get corpse camped for the amount of time you chosed and you will get updated so you can freely whisper him and taunt.
This i repeat can be done without any money involved, but not anyone can do it.

But how can that be possible ?

To make this possible, you first need to find and camp someone we want dead, plain and simple.
Once this is done, we will owe you a contract and you will be able to mark anyone as a target. Yes you understood perfectly, the random guy you corpse camped is the one who harmed an enemy faction player before you and he wanted him to pay.
You just made the day of a random player you would kill on sight and never give a fuck about his feelings if you ever crossed him. you just spent hours finding the one he hates so much and made the dirty work.

For the slow learners out there, here is an example :

A Horde rogue goes with a group into UBRS and gets his final loot ninja'ed by a Horde hunter (as always).

The Horde rogue can't do shit, he is pissed and insults the Horde hunter. The Horde hunter mocks the Horde rogue outside Orgrimmar bank.

The Horde rogue goes to the Assassins and explains the drama.

The Assassins explains what he needs to do before the Horde hunter can suffer.

The Horde rogue goes in Winterspring to kill the Alliance warlock, who gkicked the Alliance priest.

The Alliance Warlock gets killed 10 times because that was the wish of the Alliance Priest.

The Horde rogue is part of the brotherhood. He immediately puts up a contract on the Horde Hunter's head, he wants him to be killed 7 times.

The Alliance druid goes to Felwood and camps the Horde Hunter seven times while the Horde rogue whispers him to clearly state he's behind all that.

The Alliance druid is part of the brotherhood and marks the Alliance paladin for no reason.

Etc, Etc,

It NEVER ends, that is how the mecanism will work and it is already working.

Once I am avenged, what can I do?

TWO CHOICES

First choice :

You killed your target, you designated someone and you got revenge. You are relieved and we don't owe you anything anymore. The contract that binds you to us is over, you can walk away.
However, you are not immunized by a contract on your head, and the one you had killed, can, after 30 days, do the same thing to you.
This is how the basic system works. THEN, you figure out this is only the first step of something way bigger...

Second choice :

You did your job, you enjoyed it and you want to become a full time assassin. Good news : by killing someone we wanted dead, you just passed the "prove your worth" test, and you are welcome to join our ranks.
Yes, because the assassins aren't just a couple of one-time gankers. This system creates a full-scale organization with permanent members that do jobs over and over.

Being in our ranks is a huge advantage over other players, because you will be able to simply say "hey, kill this man like...5, no...7 times, and /wave him everytime you do" just because he didn't say hello.
You think it's abusive to "exploit" the system like this? Well at no point we said we were some kind of Justicars...you do what you want with your privilege, we don't judge your actions, and we are neither good or evil.



We have a complete structure within the organization, starting from the simple employee to the boss of the faction.
We have lieutenants that follow new members, give them advices and help them on contracts sometimes...
As a new member, you are in contact with...no one, except one member above you, or the one you contacted to join in.
After some time, you get to know other members.

Why do we keep it all secretive like this towards the rest of the realm or even our own newcomers?

We want to keep that invisible but influent force to remain on the server. To keep it that way we need to conceal as much as we can the identity of the people we are employing.

How can I join ?!

At first, the only contact you can have is the low level herald that is stationed in Orgrimmar or Ironforge. When he is online you can whisper him and get information. When he's not (most of the time) you can send an ingame letter explaining why you are contacting us, and ask any questions.

The Alliance Herald is : Shadydealer
The Horde Herald is : Sneakydealer

They are undercover agents disguised as bank alts. Their role is paramount, they will dispatch the contracts throughout the two factions and they are the only link between the horde members and the alliance members.

Also, druid vs Hunter lol get feared/trapped/dead.

We needed this. But are you sure every target will be a righteous one to kill?

Just make sure if your assassination is worth it when you speak to the player that requests it

Well at the moment when the player requests the assassination, he just killed and camp someone that we pointed out and he becomes a member, so whatever the reason is, we won't turn him down after the work he did.

Eventually someone will get killed and camped maybe 10 times just because he disrespected the wrong person, and that would be a questionable way of "giving justice" of course, but the rules are the rules, if the order is given, he suffers.
