Hi, first of all my english sucks but I hope u can understand that I'm trying to say.

I just wanna share my opinion about pvp I've seen here. I never played vanilla before only since nostalrius release, I started with retail tbc so is my first time playing classic and I fell in love with this server. I´m lisening all your advices if I´m wrong.

Now, my little guide to get PVP GEAR on vanilla, only my personal experience.

1- Do some bgs each week and get rank 8 or similar, it's easy, u can reach it with about 50-100k weekly honor.

1.5- You can try to get rank 9-10 by yourself if you have lucky with your partners but if you want more..

2- Look for premade, play with your premade 24/7, 95% of times u gonna play vs afk's pugs or ppl tired to play vs your premade, so you gonna play 10vs4 6minutes warsongs, 15vs7 1500-0 5min AB, ofc don't qeue av if you wanna rank, waste of time with decrease honor when someone die. (nice job for staff allowing only pugs on av, longs av well playeds can be fantastic here).

3- If you faced other premade just switch bg, dodge it, is more easy play vs pug and win in 3minutes, is more fast honor.

4- Repeat, repeat, honor, honor.

6- If you don't have family, girlfriend and dog and you have telepizza number you also can try get rk14 with this method.

I´m wrong guys?

After this, where is the fun part here? I´m a little tired of seeing 80% of ranks 11/12/13 premades are autistic backpedals, clickers and other shits playing 24 hours farming others shits, yes, you can get epic gear despite being bad but, this is funny? you enjoy play vs afk's and other autistic's tards?

I have also seen good people and is the same history, playing vs afk's, if you qeue as pug 70% of times you play vs premades and your mates don't wanna play lmao.

This IS NOT A CRY about vanilla pvp "mechanics", I know vanilla have +10years and ofc mechanics are differents and some things are broken, despite this I find vanilla pvp funny and with engineering stuffs is so fun.

This IS NOT A CRY because I´m bad and no one wanna play with me xD, I was glad on retail (on wotlk), rival on AT blablabla who cares, and fortunately I did not have trouble finding mates here, I´m only played premades till rk11 for mount and all "blue" pvp gear and I don't want a higher rank, don't have time to play 24hours now like before and my harcore times ended a long time ago.

This IS A CRY about all retardeds who prefer do boring this pvp, can be fun but you, players, make it boring as fuck, for pugs, for other premades and for yourselves.

Allowing only premade vs premade and pug vs pug? I do not like at all, playing with friends is funny too

Changing the mindset of rat kid that 90%ppl have and playing to prove to be the best, for COMPETITIVNESS and not to prove who has more free time to play empty bgs? I like this more.

Waiting +tbc for arenas with same standing heros... I hear any tips, I find all vanilla things great except bgs.

Unfortunately vanilla wow was always about time invested over anything else for ranking, like you say the top ranks become a group effort.

Pretty much yes, at 60 its roflstomp by premades all days long. Its how it was in vanilla wow until they introduced cross realms which improved situation drastically. If you want decent PvP on Nost - play AV or a twink (there are some great games at 29 bracket during night time).

This is vanilla PvP broken as it was back then. It took Blizzard over 10 years to make PvP close to balanced and partially enjoyable, and with Legion it might actually be fun doing PvP.

So don't expect anything from Vanilla PvP, it just plain sucks compared to any other game out there.

For other hand maybe I gonna level a twink just 4 fun, thanks for the advice but there are enought low lvl twink bgs here? I don't want face vs leveling undergear guys, I would play twink premades vs twink premades xd, is possible here?

Yeah, PvP always was unbalanced I know, for me was not bad during s7 but never totally balanced.
I undertand this, vanilla is old.. but is not about balanced, is about if all premades dodge other premades all premades are face vs pugs and 90% times you qeue as pug you face vs premade, consequences are empty bgs where all ppl leave and free gear for premades and I don't like this, I like competitiveness but can't find it here.

The state of PvP on live is beyond horrible. There is a reason behind the sub drops and eternal queue times on retail. It's just bad.

If you want fairness and competetive plays you should go play CS:GO. MMORPGs can and will never be balanced, nor are they meant to be a PvP experience. This is hardly doable with things like crit, dodge, parry and gear differences.

Vanilla PvP is alright.

Yep, we having premade vs premade battles lately and there are plenty of strong players both sides.
