Why would you create and manage a private server and then direct people to other private servers. You would be overjoyed that your project was so popular. It's their server, it's their project, it's their decision. If you feel so strongly that they should be pushing people to other servers, then why don't you start the process.

Population limits itself, if you quit because ts too laggy but others still play here because they still like it then they provide the experience for as many ppl as possible. At some point you reach the lag from which on more ppl quit than join and that will be the peak where it will stagnate.

Im sorry if you think that they should cut down so you are happier but less ppl can play here who would be happy even with the lag.

Make another PvP server, cap both at 8k, disable connecting to the server for anyone using a game client in a language other than EN-GB, EN-US, or FR-FR. If the jabronis at Peenix can run 3 vanilla servers and 1 TBC server simultaneously then surely Nost staff can do it and do it better. Plenty of people have expressed willingness to donate money for more server hardware if it's needed so I don't see what the big deal about expenses is.

FYI guys, even though they said "no plans," in their sticky, they have not made an official response to this topic and locked it. The way they handle suggestions around here is that once they firmly decide to do or not do something, they answer the topic and close it.
