Look's like money is the N°1 problem to fix nostalrius lags issues right?
Wait i got an idea, cap population to 5k and let the others sit in queue, at least once they'll be online they will play for real and not afk in town.
People could farm ore, even herbs!

That's a cheap solution, takes 2 minutes of "free volunteer time" and cost 0.00€
Another solution would be a new server.
Open donation for limited time for people that wish to DONATE (and get nothing back ingame), buy a new server.

Well atm it's ridiculous, they went the GW2 way cutting view distance for players to 10 yards.
They just insta pop infront of you.

It's too dangerous to split population . Best to keep everyone together. Already near impossible to find certain instance groups. The population is amazing for world pvp. If you want less pop go to the pve realm

The game is unplayable today, got 1-2 seconds delay in Tyr's Hand...

get better server hardware? I mean, we all know its unplayable during the peak hours.

The population of this server just seems to keep on increasing, despite the pve server getting released . If 4-5 months ago i used to log at 8-9 am server time to lvl some alt there were around 3.5 k -4 k people online that was the lowest pop , now i never see less then 5.5k-6k online.In the afternoon , the very least 8k and this stays until late in the evening, on weekends 10k + and don;t get me wrong its amazing you made a server that can handle this kind of population without crashing but it still lags quite a bit after getting over 7k , and it does lag every day .

See what happens in the next month when the ZG hype passes but i still think if it keeps growing a second server is in order. Who knows how many players we will have here when AQ releases .. or Nax.

Population hit will occur when Legion launches, and another when they release a TBC server. Maybe they need to keep things as they are instead of possibly breaking the strong population foundation.
