I tried to ask the tough questions on the AMA.

An update on the Nefarian problem from Wednesday: We successfully killed him again tonight, but his loot was different. AFAIK, this is a bug because of how seeding works. At least we got loot in the first place, and our off pieces were much better, though the Tier was worse (RIP Bloodfang).

if they fix the loot not dropping bug, then I'd be content. but nothing is worse then killing a boss. no crash occurring.. and nothing but gold drops....

Canthor on the panther boss, that was an issue in retail as well that Blizz never solved. That's why so many strat websites say stop doing dots around 30%

I couldn't agree more with this. Due to the sever crashes today I lose my Benediction staff following a roll back. Managed to finally complete the quest after two weeks of trying - many many consumables then as soon as I get to IF to enchant the server crashes and rolls back - back to EPL with the quest waiting to be done !!

Having spoken to a GM via support they won't do anything and simply tell me to do the quest again. Appreciate its a free game - and a fantastic server at that but a process needs to be in place to rectify player detriment.

well you might consider saving your char after getting something thats worth a bit, wouldnt have been to hard on the way to IF.

The '/Save' functionality on this server is disabled. The only 'way' I know of is to logout as soon as you get an item, and even that is not a guaranteed solution.

Bumping this back to the top as it's still a relevant discussion:
-How is this server going to handle raid loot policies where the server doesn't crash, but still items / gold are gone?
-Why is this not a tier / priority policy as it revolves around a core aspect of the game?
-are you working on side upgrades or improvements to this issue (this is not a pivot point to server crashes - we know those, and we know how to address them with tickets and looting the items prior to the server going down with screenshots stating "this person received X")
-what help do you need with to enable these features?
-how will this get addressed going forward with AQ?

Examples to keep topic fresh:
Instability's kill of Chromaggus - only gold dropped on the kill.
Panther Boss dying and having no corpse to spawn
Dragons of Nightmare dying and not dropping any loot.
Specific articles if deleted are not recovered (e.g.quest rewards: Carrot on a stick...etc.).
