Server Maintenance

After seeing the fix to the DM loot issue on the PvE server being constantly delayed and the server downtime during maintenance is so short, why not extend the server downtime if a problem like that needs to be fixed? I don't know if you are able to design the fixes while the server is still running but I would personally rather have the server be down for an entire day or two than issues like this happening for weeks. In the DM loot case, there is no reason for me to kill Immothar as a tank (other than to help guildies of course) because the loot I need off of it is bugged. And if pug tanks are avoiding Immothar, that means it will be harder for the people who's loot off of him actually drops. This problem is quite a bit worse than a day of downtime in my opinion.
