How about stop playing God?

More and more changes are constantly being done to the server making it less #blizzlike

Most recent change is removal of the Bat Bijou drops that exploded thy're prices on H AH from 1.5g to 4-5g atm

Previous changes are making hunters unable to solo DM tribute, how many actually did that? was more of a show off then ppl actually farming it, great way for making the shit hunter class even shittier, also cuz of that a party with a hunter without a priest can no longer do a perfect tribute run.. so me (RDruid and my buddys Hunter and Feral Druid) will have a harder time doing DM and my chances as a RDruid finding a random DM tribute party is kek

Another godlike change is silent undocumented nerfing the Druid set drop rates. Basically the biggest advantage to playing druid, getting easy set items was removed. My guild has Razorgore on farm for 3 months now and no druid wrist drop. Once my mage is 60 guess what I'll play? GJ on destroying class balance even more.

And ofc I cannot pass by the custom BG queue system without reminding it! #blizzlike

Pls add more to the list ppl I'm sure there so much more I don't know or forgot to mention.

Ofc I forgot the Alcor's Sunrazor's change from BoE to BoP before it's time...

And ofc the constat Alterac Valley tweaking... 'let's put a mine here'.. let's make this and that and see how the wind of player qq flows

HOW ABOUT KEEP IT FUCKING BLIZZLIKE!

This shouldn't be BoP. Is and was always BoE, even now on retail (see Wowhead). So if they've made it BoP they are actually customising which I agree, isn't blizzlike.

Stop making up random facts when you clearly don't know.

19th December 2005: http://web.archive.org/web/200512191748 ... item=14555 (BoP)

15th April 2006: http://web.archive.org/web/200604151745 ... item=14555 (BoE)

Also, the insane samplesize of 12 (!) Razogore kills doesn't even get close to proving anything about changed droprates.

"as of 1.9 it will be BoE considering it is a "world drop" (sorta). "

As we are in 1.12.1 then yes I did show the correct info so no its shouldn't be BoP. Maybe I was wrong to say 'never' when it was briefly BoP but this client should reflect the correct ingame items not be changed from BoE to BoP at a whim.

You're getting the whole concept of the server wrong.

The client we are using is 1.12.1, this means talents, abilities, environment etc. are the same as they were in patch 1.12.1 at retail.
However, nostalrius is emulating different patches using this 1.12.1 client. This includes different itemization and opened (raid)content. So effectively, the PvP server is simulated to be at Patch 1.8, the PvE server is simulated to be at patch 1.3 currently (see timeline at https://en.nostalrius.org/timeline).

Since Alcor's was BoP before patch 1.9, that's how it is currently on both PvP and PvE server, which is blizzlike. It will change back to BoE with patch 1.9 (again see timeline).

Hope that clears up a few things.

Some of these claims are ridiculous and just stand testimony for urself expecting to be catered to.
--
Hunter's soloing DM:N actually had a big impact on the servers economy. (none of which were harmful to me, im a fan of inflation anyway)
- Dumped mana potion prices
- Dumped Shard Prices
- Influx from vendor gold.
- Not to mention the selling of loot
(Just like you could argue mages farming DM:E has one - but that impact arises from the numbers of people doing this - the Gold/h from DM:E isn't actually worth it)
You easily made 120g+/h w/o any kind of competition, this wasn't a showoff - people made Hunter alts to farm gold.
--
Like it has already been proven, Alcor's was supposed to be BoP until a certain point in time.
--
As towards your loot bias against Druids:
http://realmplayers.com/ItemUsageInfo.a ... 897&page=4
http://realmplayers.com/ItemUsageInfo.a ... 916&page=2

It is completly ridiculous to even bring this point up, not only are druids the least represented class in the whole game and getting set specific gear is usually easy as cake, but the statement is evidently flawed.

---
A party with a hunter can do a perfect tribute run fairly easy.
---
Bijou prices can drop at any given time when mages decide it's worth to farm them.
Prices rising is also due to the steady inflation of Nostalrius, items are around 30% more expensive than a month before this point.

---
Valid points you are bringing forth which definitely needs to be adressed is the state of Alterac Valley and Battleground queues. - But just to be clear here - even the fixes that we need there, wouldn't be considered Blizzlike. They are simply superior - since Blizzards game back in the day had its fair share of flaws.

Also clearly bugged mechanics and items are in dire need of fixing + more bugreports have to be confirmed and resolved.

Oh well I can't argue against statistics about the druid set.. I must be just unlucky to farm BWL for 2 month and no drop on wrists. Even a lock that joined 2 weeks ago has 5 set pieces and our 2nd druid in 4 weeks got 2 pieces kek

About Alcor's it's a useless chance since it becomes BoE again in next patch 1.9
http://vanilla-wow.wikia.com/wiki/Patch_1.9.0
They did a hotfix and screwed a lot of ppl that had them on alts and I bet it won't be back to boe on next patch as it should... it's not on shop on PTR so can't tell yet.
