Nostalrius staff should set up fake accounts to sell people gold. They would pocket the cash to create a second server and ban whoever buys the gold instantly. Less lag and less cheaters. Everyone wins.

Any monetary gain puts them in a tough spot regarding the legality of the server. Nobody wants to deal with legal procedures, even if you win in the end. Lawyer fees, and having to attend hearings are things that the Nost devs want to avoid at all costs.
