Grinding the way up to 60

Hello, I've been leveling for a few days now and I'm grinding since level 13 (20 atm) doing just simple quests I know, is it possible to grind your way up to 60 or it takes too long and is not worth it on higher levels? Actually takes me around 2 hours to get a level, on level 13 it took an hour to level 14. I'm a mage though so I guess AOE grind is the best option for me anyway, right?

Grinding half a lever or so is ok by me, but grinding all the way to 60? No way. Do quests and get some variation dude.

What he said. A good mix of easily completed grouped quests and finding a good grind spot for a level or two is the best and fastest way to level.

And it will also calm your sanity.

The absolute fastest way to level is pure questing with the occasional grind/instance for maybe 25%-50% of a level.

Grind if you want but once you hit the 50s you'll want to kill yourself.

Not when you're AoE grinding the Whip Lashers in DM East

Only class that can grind to 60 without contemplating suicide is Mage and maybe Prot paladin, because they can AoE grind as a decent alternative to questing.

Yeh, I did some quests at some levels too, but sometimes I just get stuck on a dumb quest, dying over and over again, takes an hour with nearly no XP gain. I guess I will try to grind as much as possible, doing dungeons when I have level to wear those drops to stay geared and maybe try AOE grinding if I can find good spots.

Eh I had a guildie grind exclusively to 60. Hunter class, took him maybe 2.5 weeks

Hunters are the fastest leveling class, although one may get bored of the play style. After their AoE fest a mage and prot paladin will have recover, which is where a lot of time gets taken away.
