How to disable XP gain

Hey is there any way to disable xp gaining? I want to stay for longer on my level, collect some items, play bg's etc. I played on tbc server and there was a command ".xp 0" but it doesn't work here.

Yeah, at around that time all I did was farm 25-man Heroic Lich King/Ruby Sanctum and play Cataclysm beta.
