Here's the thing. We need a new server, but not another "realm".

I'm not even sure if WoW's architecture can handle it, but if you could put instances/battlegrounds on a separate server, as well was EK/Western Kingdoms, you could potentially reduce load without splitting the population.

WoW servers used to work like that, but I don't know Mangos abilities to do it. The devs can't do everything themselves, some tasks are just too huge.
