yeah i believe too horde are more cause i dont seeing many alliance atleast in kalimdor, i've played alliance too nor from there side i saw many ppl so thats means we never gonna have invasion inside in ogrimar sadly XD

Every time it goes past 7k I wish it would rather be 1.5-2.5k. I stopped playing back in March or so thinking of coming back when the pop would be lower.(at the time it was 6k at peak) I'm suprised at how many people can put up with this.

The huge population is what makes me play on Nostalrius. I love having as many people as possible on at a time. I always found the regular WoW servers to be rather dead, even though I played on a supposedly high-pop server. There were less people than on Nostalrius and there were more areas so people were even more spread out. This server actually makes WoW feel like an MMO.

I do not mean this in a rude way, but if you want to experience a much lower population server in similar vein to Nostalrius, perhaps check out Kronos?

If I had to guess, I'd say it's because of summer. On the last private server I played, the population went down in September and continued to go down and down after that. During the summer, there were ~1200 people online during prime time just about every night, but by October, it was down to ~700 online during prime time.

But what time of day was that? If its not sometime in 18:00 - 2:00 the next day then your probably only going to run into a fraction of the defending faction.

Take that time and do it on a Sat or Sun this summer if you want a real challenge.
