watch out, most of you are getting banned due to this new rule

Correct me if I'm wrong, but ever since I can remember on PvP servers you could never create both an alliance and a horde character. I don't believe this is a new rule.

on retail you couldn't, on Nostalrius you can

On retail it didnt allow you to.
It lets you make horde and ally toons here

Faction per realm was removed in 1.10 when xrealm BG's were released IIRC??

I don't think it matters to have multiple accounts with different factions. As long as you're not multi-boxing or creating some unfair advantage then power to ya. Plus, how else will you know that you succeeded in pissing someone off after camping them for an hour? They've got to PM and whine about it.

The restriction to only 1 faction on pvp servers lasted until Wrath of the lich king.

You could on retail, you needed 2 accounts. You can on Nostalrius, but you still need 2 accounts.

My question, if multiboxing is against the rules, why isn't this?
