Blizzarding and Savespotting in BB, Ratchet etc.

I've witnessed people savespotting in Booty Bay, Ratchet etc. and killing ppl while guards couldn't reach them.
Have also seen mages use blizzard to kill people without guards aggroing.
Is this behaviour bannable or at least worthy of a warning?

It's only bannable if they use an aoe spell like blizzard to target you inside a building that would otherwise be LoS.

The safe spotting isn't against the rules, however if you see someone using blizzard to aoe someone inside of a building from the roof this they have said they will ban for.

Unless it is exploiting a game mechanic, (wall jumping or other obvious exploiting, like mentioned here, Blizzarding through a LoS barrier) it should be legit. They may be utilizing the pathing, so the guards reset before they get to them. We don't know the situation and until it is shown to prove it is an exploit and not just clever use of mechanics, we have to say it
could be legit.

there is a little wooden post above the entrance to the gadgetzan inn that a mage can stand on and, with the right camera angle, properly target blizzard on the ground inside the inn
would that be bannable according to the stipulation about blizzarding through a roof? i dont know where or how to bug blizzard through a roof, but casting blizzard from that little post into the inn might be perceived as such even though there is no exploiting of mechanics going on

I would avoid doing it just because GM's are people situations get confused and screen shots aren't 100 % clear. Just don't do it if you value your account and if you don't give a shit go ahead lol.
