GM's does not restore accounts banned while being hacked. They simply don't have the ressources to do in-depth investigations, thus account security is your and only your responsibility. This also means whatever the hacker does is your responsibility, and therefore account will be banned if the hacker is for example selling gold.

And you must have done *something* to be hacked. For example:
* Using your ingame name as account name
* Using same account name (or/and password) on other servers or websites
* having an easy to guess password (qwerty123-like style)
* Downloaded some nasty porn (gimme that link!) from a shady site
* Installed a not-so-smart addon

So ignorant. So arrogant. So rude.

Let me give you another example:
* There's a leak. Somewhere. Be it nost forums, nost wow or nost bugtracker

There's NOOOO WAYYY they're spam trying to logon with different passwords. Firstly, that gets them IP banned, secondly, it gets the account flagged. How insanely many options would they even have to go through? Even if you had to guess a really easy password, it would take you thousands of tries. Have fun doing that on Nost with their DDOS shield.

Hello, my in game characters are Bliiss and Bshaw on the Pvp nost realm, iv have played with this person for years and find this ban absurd and improbable, please reinstate his account because this cannot be a valid ban. For someone who's a very skilled and loyal Vanilla WoW player, taking his account away would be a great loss to the nostalrius community. Reconsider this ban and bring him back online!

I've played with JC for some time on this server and on retail wow, and I have seen him flat out leave a guild for them trying to use an exploit. This guy is the least likely person to do something shady to get his account compromised.

The unfortunate truth is that somehow these hackers were able to obtain the log-in credentials for your account and once they had logged on they started advertising the gold selling websites. Per our Terms of use https://en.nostalrius.org/terms-of-use the responsibility for account security lies with the user not the staff. So the fact that your account was hacked, and then engaged in an activity that resulted in the account being closed - there is nothing we can do to unban the account.

As for how the compromise happened - there are rumors - and not a lot more, but if you read Viper's post our suspicion is that potentially you have an account on another private server where you have used the same, or similar username/password. Even if that is or is not the case it matters little, unfortunately your account was compromised and is now permanently banned.

Thank you guys for trying, it's been a wonderful journey, but Nostalrius has made their decision.
It wasn't me that did these violations, but unfortunately they do not see it that way as I can't have my account back. I do feel that should ahve my account back and the hacker should be banned not me or my account. It's like committing a crime and I'm getting the punishment, not the actual person who violated the crime.
If they did hack my account and I use a new password this should eliminate the issue, but they refuse to allow this to happen, which honestly is truly unfortunate. They wont even give my account a Second chance.

I will be reporting to the guild I lead and informing them that these guilds are forever locked down.

i highly disagree with hacked account being not able to restore . in a common sense there could be easy investigation if the hacker is from same country or not .

Example i login from "macedonia" but someone attempt and try to hack my account from France or China or USA , then this should be accepted as compromised and hacked account that would be restored.

If the hacker used "macedonian" ip adress then this is valid ban .

it is not that hard to track ip because the Client from Game should and can display the login ip's by Characters and/or Accounts .

Keyloggers will always find out your Password , no matter where you are at , this include Nostalrius website and Nostalrius team . (even if they get hacked and stealth abused to get passwords from people by not changing their information or whatsoever) it can still be easy way to hack accounts.

my point is from what i have already seen around , you can use google generator system or tracking country ip way to prevent high frequency of hackers.


At the end of the day i found most efficient anti hacker program = malwarebyte , activate it as premium,update it and use complete scan to your pc. this will 100% find the keylogger in your pc and prevent hackers ip's.
