Account Banned

Greetings Nostalrius managers,
my character qpz has been banned on the PvP server,
It was only a level 9 druid and I am not that stressed over it but would like to know what happened for it to result in a ban, it had no gold on it, never traded with anyone, did not abuse anyone and had not been logged into for a week. I would just like to know what happened, thank you for your time in anticipation.

I would simply like to know the reason, i had another account and would like to avoid making the same mistake (If i have somehow made one) Like i said, its ony a lvl 9 druid, i never have more than 20s or so on it and I did not talk to alot of people on it.

You probably got banned by the ChatSpam detection.
This system is in place to combat goldseller spam accounts.
Unfortunately it sometimes bans new players/accounts as a false positive.
A GM will most likely unban you soon, after they did try to avoid using public chat channels below level 15.

Greetings,
This account was banned because it was compromised as a result of the recent gold seller hack wave. The perpetrator was advertising a gold selling site on your characters.
In fact, it looks like you have actually three accounts that were all in this category:
1. Account associated with Heylo (this is the one you mention)
2. Account associated with Tuinslang
3. Account associated with Poussin
The three bans have been placed under compromised account review. The review may take some time to complete. We will get back to you with a determination or more instructions in this thread.

I am extremely sorry for what has happened as I know it is an effort for you guys,
I remember my character heylo, but not the other ones, again I am really sorry I think my username and password matched another private server I played a few years ago. Ugh i just feel horrible, even after all the warnings you had given us. But anyway Thank you for the response. I will make sure I have a unique password and username everytime.
